This is a view of Downtown New Orleans taken from the balcony of our hotel room.   That's me standing there.

That's me standing in front of St. Lous Cathedral, in Jackson Square.  This is supposedly the oldest (or one of the oldest) buildings in New Orleans.

That's my friend Greg standing on Bourbon Street, in the French Quarter.  As you can see from the sign that guy is holding, it's Happy Hour.

Another view of Bourbon Street.  This is during the day, when its more docile.   At night, they block the street to automobile traffic as the crowds from the bars spill out onto the street.

This is taken from the train going back from New Orleans.  This the swampy area (Bayou?) outside of N.O.

This is the Louisiana Superdome, where they have played the Super Bowl.  We went inside and took the tour.  Not really much to see.

This is St. Louis Cemetary, which has some old graves in it.  You'll notice that they are above ground.  People have said its because New Orleans is below the water table (which it is; New Orleans would be a swamp left to its own devices), but its probably because this is just a religous tradition.
