| Here are some more pictures of London. | ||||||||
This is the line to get inside the Tower Of London. |
This is a view taken atop a walkway on the wall surrounding the Tower. This is the courtyard inside. Straight ahead is the "Waterloo Barracks", which forms part of the building where the Crown Jewels are stored. No picture taking allowed of course. To the left is the "White Tower". |

This is the "Traitor Gate", the gate by which prisoners, by way of the River Thames, would arrive. Anne Boelyn and Elizabeth I were arrived entered the Tower of London through this gate. |
This is the "White Tower". |
|||||||
This is the Tower Bridge across the River Thames. This is not London Bridge. London Bridge is in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. |
Ravens at the Tower Of London. A long time superstition has it that when there are no longer ravens in the Tower both the White Tower and the British Empire (I guess the Commonwelth now) will fall. So the Yeomen of the Guard raise and maintain the birds. |

The HMS Belfast. We didn't go on this battleship. |
St. Paul's Cathedral. |
|||||||
This is another view of St. Paul's from the front. |
Kensington Palace, home of Queen Victoria (before she became Queen; that's her statue there) and Princess Diana. My dad is there on the left. |
