After we flew into London, we rented a car and drove (in a driving rainstorm) the 70 miles to Canterbury, where we stayed two nights. Driving when your jet lagged, and on the left side of the road, and on impossibly narrow roads, is not such a great idea.

No, there aren't tigers roaming the English countryside.  This tiger lives at Howletts Wild Animal park. Howletts is a privately owned zoo in Bekesbourne, Kent, which is near Canterbury.  My mom wanted to go there because it has the largest collection of Gorillas in captivity.
